Baby boomers, here are some easy steps you can do that will take an article you had previously written and repurpose it into a brand new article that you can post onto your blog.
Creating a new article by repurposing an old one is a little secret that’s not so secret and one that bloggers use all the time. So in answer to what I often hear people saying that they don’t know what else they can write about, I have created a short video.
Creating new content for your central hub, website or other satellite hubs is one of the driving forces that increases your visibility across the landscape of the internet. Learning how to successfully repurpose content and create unique articles will extend your reach.
If you need assistance in creating your blog, take a look at the tutorial on Blogging For Beginners. Together, these tools will have you up and running in no time.
Oh, and please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

Donnalynn,
Very nice! You know Donnalynn, I never thought of doing a re-purposing in that way. I’ve always created a completely different article with a twist. This is a great way to get more articles out faster.
Thanks For Sharing,
Donna Wells
Hi Thank you for that informative video. I didn’t realize you could summarize like you just did. I do it the hard way, working out what I want. They say you can learn something everyday and I jsut have. Thank you for sharing
Absolutely! This makes it so much easier. It still gives you an original bc you make changes and add more information. You just don’t have to bang your head against the wall trying to come up with brand spanking new article. Big difference. Glad you found this helpful!
Hi Rosemary, It’s that the truth. You have just met a fellow ‘do-it-the-hard-way’ person. I’m finally catching on myself that things don’t have to be done like that. Glad this was helpful to you and thanks for stopping by.
Donnalynn;
Thanks so much for this - what a great idea! I had no idea you could do that. Thanks for the video. I’m a visual learner so it helps to see what you did. Great info!!
Great Stuff. Article creation is so important!
Kathy, I’m so glad this was helpful. I’m a visual person, too and videos really do the trick for me. Thanks for taking a peek and leaving your comment.
