For Internet Marketing Boomers, when you add yourself as an ingredient to your strategy of success, you will see that all you need to know is just waiting there for you to discover it. Add in some basic steps of success, repeat.
You will understand what I mean when you watch a video I want to share with you.
Today, I saw a video on Will Smith, a very likeable and accomplished guy. It was very inspirational and which I will share with you in this post.
I also read From Brick and Mortar to Master Maven, a PDF form of an interview between Rich Schefren and Gary Vaynerchuk.
These are just two examples, but there are many places to find answers, inspiration and guidance, no matter what your niche is.
These people are successful and everyone wants to know how they did it, or what their take is on how to become successful.
The steps they outline are really few in number, but large in scope and really take you wanting to create a change in your life or in your business, or whatever it is.
Here are some tips they have shared:
- Success is not overnight. It takes work and lots of it. It happens slowly then blossoms if what you’re sharing with others is of value. For internet marketing, that means putting your best stuff out there and sharing it.
- Next, you must be a part of your community, your industry, your customers’ hang-out. You have to see what people are looking for and you can add your two cents to the pot. Just keep adding value and don’t look for this to be a marketing escapade, but rather a contribution and giving back to your community.
- It requires you to be focused beyond measure. You must have a razor sharp eye beam straight on your target and all energy goes there. To be sharing your time is too distracting from your purpose.
- You must have a belief that it will happen and it’s just a matter of time. It’s almost as though you can’t do anything else because it’s such a part of you. That belief has to be unshakeable.
- Be creative in ways you approach and share your information/product or service. It needs to be up to date and current with what’s going on out there. So, stay in close touch with your industry, trends and your customers.
